Next to Police, Bank Robbers Were Stealing for 2 Hours 

A robbery like those you watch in the movies took place on Tuesday, August 9, in a Piraeus Bank branch in Athens. The robbers struck around 2:15pm and were in the branch for two hours right across from the Hellenic Police Attica Headquarters.

According to Greek police, four armed robbers, wearing silicone masks, came into the bank branch and after overpowering eight employees and five civilians, they took all the money from the cash registers, while they also forced open customers’ safety boxes.

The perpetrators remained inside the bank for more than two hours holding the employees hostage while the robbery was only made known to the police and the bank management after the robbers had left the building. According to the witnesses the four perpetrators had welding tools in their possession which they used to break into the safety boxes, causing extensive property damage.

It was estimated that the robbers stole around 60,000 euros in cash from the registers, as well as an undisclosed amount from the safety boxes that has not yet been estimated.

The police who has already studied the bank’s CCTV video is still investigating the robbery.

Greek companies under immense pressure

International hedge funds are vying for the acquisition of many Greek companies in the red and non-performing loans from Greek banks. Nearly 60bln Euros of non performing loans by Greek companies have drawn the attention of tens of hedge funds interested in taking advantage of the abysmal state of many domestic businesses. The hedge funds are adopting a cynical, yet legal approach, as they are trying to either directly buy out companies in dire straits or take control of their (companies’) non-performing loans to Greek banks. An increasing number of hedge funds are changing their stance lately, as they prefer to buy the companies in auction sell offs at a much cheaper cost, rather than deal with the companies’ ownership directly. Hedge funds consider the cost of a direct buyout extremely high given the large debts Greek businesses are carrying and the poor state of the domestic market. A characteristic example is the buyout of TRAINOSE by Italian group Ferrovie Dello Stato Italiane for a mere 45mln Euros, a price way below the train company’s equity. The recent changes in the bankruptcy law deriving from the 3rd memorandum has made it easier for foreign hedge funds to swoop in and take over, as it provides that the liquidation procedures for companies in financial duress are expedited. Meanwhile, bankers are also involved in the ongoing ‘struggle’, as credit funds are pressing Greek bankers to accept prices for the acquisition of non-performing loans at 20% of their nominal value, arguing the Greek bankers do not proceed with the deals in a speedy fashion.

Ingredients

For the dough:
250g all-purpose flour
20g fresh yeast
120ml lukewarm water
120ml lukewarm milk
1 pinch of salt
25ml agave nectar
15g butter
1 egg yolk
vegetable oil for frying

For the garnish:
heated honey
cinnamon powder
toasted sesame seeds

Method

Step 1
Mix the milk, water, butter and yeast in a bowl. Make sure the yeast dissolves completely.

Step 2
Add the agave nectar, salt, egg yolk and flour -a little at a time- and whisk until the mixture becomes a smooth batter. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the dough rest in a warm place for 1 hour, until it doubles in size.

Step 3
Into a medium sized pan pour enough vegetable oil and heat it to high heat until it begins to bubble.

Step 4
Dip a tablespoon in a glass of water and spoon out some dough into the pan. Repeat until the pan is comfortably filled. You need to dip the spoon in the water so that the batter doesn’t stick on it. Use a slotted spoon to turn them on all sides, until golden brown.

Step 5
Place the loukoumades on kitchen paper to drain for 2 minutes and then arrange them on a large platter. Drizzle with honey, sprinkle with cinnamon powder and sesame seeds and enjoy!

Wildfires are raging in two locations on the island of Euboea. A fire broke out in the area of Karystos, south of Chalkida in the morning hours of Tuesday, while a second blaze occurred at approximately 6 am, Tuesday in the area of Kymi. Strong winds of up to 8 knots have hampered the fire extinguishing operations on the Karystos front, as aerial means cannot contribute to the land units of 13 fire engines and 26 fire-fighters on the scene. The Mayor of Krystos, Eleftherios Raviolas told Skai TV that the town had been evacuated. 36 fire-fighters and 16 vehicles are trying to put out the Kymi wildfire, with 4 planes and a helicopter contributing to the efforts.

According to survey conducted by French travel portal Allovoyages.fr, Oia and Imervigli in Santorini and Mykonos are among the most expensive tourist destinations in Europe for the month of August. Playa d’en Bossa has an average price per night of 254 Euros, while Oia and the Italian village of Positano on the coast of Amalfi in Italy round off the top 3 most expensive resorts with costs of 242 and 243 Euros per night, respectively.

A series of sweeping changes and cuts in the pensions of hundreds of thousands of beneficiaries are expected to take affect in September. Nearly 1.2 million pensioners will see their supplementary pensions re-evaluated, while a large number of pensioners will see their main pensions slashed. A total of 200,000-250,000 pensioners eligible for supplementary pensions , 6,000 in the high bracket and 11,000 bank pensioners will be included in the re-evaluation of their pensions under the new social security law. The former employees of Alpha bank and Emporiki Bank are expected to be hit the hardest with cuts in their main pensions of up to 35%, while pensioners in the private sector will see a 15% reduction in their pensions. It is estimated that 200,000-250,000 pensioners in the banking sector, trade and commerce, petrol station workers and maritime agents will see their supplementary pensions slashed between 35-40%.

Government quick to condemn incident this time

A group of  unidentified individuals hurled cocktail molotov bombs at the Holy Synod of the Petrakis Monastery in Athens, at approximately 3am on Monday morning. The attacks resulted in two parked cars being damaged. The incident is the latest in a barrage of attacks against Churches across the country from self-styled anti-establishment groups, after the arrest of solidarity group members last week for charging into a Church into Thessaloniki. The Greek government’s spokesperson, Olga Gerovasili issued a statement condemning the attack. ‘Monday’s morning attack against the Holy Synod’s offices are abhorrent. The authorities have taken the necessary steps to detect the suspects’, she said.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has told a vast rally in Istanbul that he would approve the return of the death penalty if it was backed by parliament and the public.
He was speaking to a crowd of at least a million who had gathered in Turkey’s biggest city.
The rally followed last month’s failed military coup.
Mr Erdogan also said the state would be cleansed of all supporters of the US-based cleric Fethullah Gulen.
The cleric is blamed by the Turkish government for the attempted uprising. He denies any involvement.
Religious figures and leaders of two of Turkey’s three opposition parties attended the rally. The Kurdish party was not invited. More than 270 people died in events surrounding the 15 July coup attempt, which triggered a government crackdown.
Thousands of alleged supporters of Mr Gulen have been detained or dismissed from government jobs.
Western nations have been critical of the government’s response to the coup. The European Union – which Turkey has applied to join – refuses to accept capital punishment in member states. The parade ground, built to hold more than a million people, was overflowing, with streets of surrounding neighbourhoods clogged by crowds, Reuters news agency reports.
Turkish government sources said five million people had attended, with the event broadcast live on public screens at smaller rallies across Turkey’s provinces.
Mr Erdogan told the rally: “It is the Turkish parliament that will decide on the death penalty… I declare it in advance, I will approve the decision made by the parliament.
“They say there is no death penalty in the EU… Well, the US has it; Japan has it; China has it; most of the world has it. So they are allowed to have it. We used to have it until 1984. Sovereignty belongs to the people, so if the people make this decision I am sure the political parties will comply.”

The incident with SYRIZA MP George Kyristis expressing support to Sakkas who was accused with links to terrorist group ‘Conspiracy of Fire Cells’ and robber Marios Seisidis, has left ruling party SYRIZA under under pressure in its efforts to strike a balance between exercising power as the elected government and its long-standing affiliations with small self-styled anti-establishment and solidarity groups. This latest incident comes days after the official government of SYRIZA was forced to release an announcement on the storming of a Church by a solidarity group inn Thessaloniki. Kyristis claimed in a post the two arrested felons were victimised due to their political views. The Greek government has yet to make any statements on the positions expressed by Kyristis on the matter, and most believe the government is trying to distance itself from the MP, as it is still gauging the impact on its image from its belated condemnation of the Church incident. It is becoming apparent that a rift between the political leadership of the Public Protection Ministry and a political strain within SYRIZA is brewing underneath the surface. Kyristis persisted that the two arrested men were being persecuted because of the political views.

Φιλόλογος σε Λύκειο έβγαινε ραντεβού με μαθήτρια

Έλεγε στην τάξη σεξουαλικά υπονοούμενα («το βράδυ ξέσκισα μια τίγρη»), αυτομαστιγωνόταν με τη ζώνη του κατά τη διάρκεια του μαθήματος, αυτοαποκαλείτο «Μητσάρας»

Καθηγητής φιλόλογος, παντρεμένος με δύο παιδιά, αυτομαστιγωνόταν με τη ζώνη του κατά τη διάρκεια του μαθήματος, αυτοαποκαλείτο «Μητσάρας», έβγαινε ραντεβουδάκια με μαθήτρια, αλλά την πήγαινε και στο σπίτι του, εκσφενδόνιζε παπούτσια στις μαθήτριες, ήταν αθυρόστομος και απαξιωτικός προς τους μαθητές, άφηνε σεξουαλικά υπονοούμενα, έλεγε άσεμνα ανέκδοτα, αλλά του άφηναν και ραβασάκια στο παρμπρίζ του αυτοκινήτου τους. Ο ίδιος δηλώνει αντικομφορμιστής και υποστηρίζει ότι αυτά που του αποδίδονται είναι σκευωρία και πλεκτάνη.

Παρ’ όλα αυτά, οι σύμβουλοι Επικρατείας δεν δέχθηκαν την προσφυγή του τέως γενικού επιθεωρητή δημόσιας διοίκησης Λέανδρου Ρακιντζή, με την οποία ζητούσε ο φιλόλογος να απολυθεί οριστικά, και επικύρωσαν την πειθαρχική ποινή της προσωρινής παύσης των 6 μηνών με πλήρη στέρηση των αποδοχών του που του είχε επιβληθεί για αναξιοπρεπή συμπεριφορά δημοσίου υπαλλήλου εντός και εκτός υπηρεσίας.

Το κουβάρι άρχισε να ξετυλίγεται με ένα ανώνυμο e-mail και καταγγελίες γονέων για την απρεπή συμπεριφορά του φιλολόγου στη Νότια Πελοπόννησο, ενώ υπήρξε και καταγγελία γονέα για σεξουαλική και ψυχική παρενόχληση της κόρης του.

Έτσι ξεκίνησε προκαταρκτική έρευνα από την οποία προέκυψε ότι ο φιλόλογος εφέρετο να έχει παρενοχλήσει σεξουαλικά μαθήτρια της Α΄ Λυκείου, να είχε προσβάλει επανειλημμένα μαθητές με απρεπείς εκφράσεις. Χαρακτηριστικά, απευθυνόμενος σε μαθήτριες της είπε «πότε θα βγάλεις το δικό σου ροζ dvd σαν της Τζούλιας», σε άλλη ανέφερε ότι «εμείς οι gay πρέπει να το δείχνουμε», ενώ σε μαθητή του είπε με νόημα: «εχθές το βράδυ ξέσκισα μια τίγρη».

Για να εξασφαλίσει τα νώτα του, απειλούσε κιόλας τους μαθητές να μην πουν τίποτα στουώ γονείς τους, λέγοντας: «Έχουν προσπαθήσει πολλά πουλάκια να μου κάνουν κακό, αλλά τον Μητσάρα δεν τον αγγίζει τίποτα, γιατί άλλα πουλάκια που αγαπάνε τον Μητσάρα θα απομονώσουν αυτά τα πουλάκια που μιλάνε πολύ».

Κατόπιν αυτών, που ήταν η κορφή του παγόβουνου, διατάχθηκε Ένορκη Διοικητική Εξέταση (ΕΔΕ).

Στο πλαίσιο της ΕΔΕ ο πατέρας της μαθήτριας κατέθεσε ότι από άλλους γονείς πληροφορήθηκε ότι η κόρη του έχει σχέση με το φιλόλογο. Η ίδια η κόρη του παραδέχθηκε ότι είχε βγει δυο φορές μαζί του και ότι ήδη από τα Χριστούγεννα του 2009 «την έπαιζε εγκεφαλικά και ψυχικά», ζήτησε όμως να «μην του κάνουν τίποτα».

Ακόμη, κατέθεσε ότι τον Ιούνιο του 2010 είχαν δει τον καθηγητή έξω από το σπίτι της μαθήτριας και η τελευταία μπήκε στο αυτοκίνητό του, ενώ συμμαθήτριές της την άκουγαν να συνομιλεί τηλεφωνικά μαζί του «κάθε πέντε λεπτά» και μάλιστα το κινητό είχε που απόκρυψη.

Ο πατέρας ανέφερε ακόμη ότι ο καθηγητής πήγε την κόρη του στο σπίτι του και της έδειχνε οικογενειακές φωτογραφίες, προσπαθώντας να την παρασύρει, όπως και ότι η κόρη του δεχόταν κλήσεις από τον αριθμό 697…….., ο οποίος ανήκε στον εκπαιδευτικό.

Η μητέρα της μαθήτριας είπε ότι της εκμυστηρεύθηκε η κόρη της ότι όντως η πρώτη συνάντηση έγινε στο αυτοκίνητό του, κατά την οποία απλώς συζητούσαν, ενώ η δεύτερη ήταν στο σπίτι του.

Σύμφωνα με την μαθήτρια, κατά την συνάντηση στο σπίτι του γδύθηκε «από την μέση και πάνω» και αντάλλαξαν «φιλιά και χάδια», χωρίς όμως να φτάσουν σε ερωτικές πράξεις.

Κατά τη μητέρα, «η ολοκλήρωση της σχέσης τους ήταν θέμα ημερών, καθώς ο εκπαιδευτικός συνιστούσε στην κόρη της να είναι προσεκτική στο σχολείο, προκειμένου να μην γίνει αντιληπτή η σχέση τους».

Παράλληλα, γονείς ανέφεραν ότι ο φιλόλογος είχε πει σε μαθήτριες διάφορες φράσεις, όπως «χθες το βράδυ πήρα ένα γκομενάκι καυτό», «άσε μας ρε Τζένη και συ με τους έρωτές σου», «περπάτα πιο σεξουαλικά γιατί δεν θα σε θέλει κανένας άντρας», ενώ μετά από ένα περιστατικό βιαιοπραγίας μαθητή κατά μαθήτριας επιβράβευσε τον μαθητή λέγοντάς του: «καλά της έκανες και εγώ στη θέση σου το ίδιο θα έκανα».

Οι συνάδελφοί του χαρακτήρισαν τη συμπεριφορά του «αντιπαιδαγωγική και ανάρμοστη», ενώ κατέθεσαν ότι είναι «εκρηκτικός, πομπώδης, αθυρόστομος, με έλλειψη σεβασμού απέναντι στους άλλους», ενώ του καταλόγισαν ότι άφηνε σεξουαλικά υπονοούμενα για την εμφάνιση και την αμφίεση των μαθητριών και έλεγε απαξιωτικές εκφράσεις και επιφωνήματα για τα «σωματικά προσόντα τους».

Μάλιστα, τόνισαν ότι σε μια σε μία περίπτωση λογομαχίας που είχε με μαθήτρια, εκσφενδόνισε προς το μέρος της υπόδημα άλλης μαθήτριας.

Ακόμη, κατέθεσαν ότι μαθητές τους μετέφεραν ότι «ήταν αθυρόστομος, τραγουδούσε άσεμνα τραγούδια και έκανε απρεπείς χειρονομίες», ενώ άλλος είπε ότι ήταν «είρων και προκλητικός» και ότι «η διδασκαλία του διαρκούσε 5 λεπτά, διαθέτοντας την υπόλοιπη διδακτική ώρα σε ανέκδοτα για sex και ναρκωτικά», ενώ όταν μαθητής είχε βρογχίτιδα, με ειρωνικό ύφος του είπε: «Κ. έχουν χαλάσει τα υδραυλικά σου».

Η διευθύντρια του Λυκείου τον χαρακτήρισε αθυρόστομο και χαλαρό και ανέφερε ότι κατά το παρελθόν είχε τιμωρηθεί με χρηματικό πρόστιμό για την υβριστική στάση του.

Ο φιλόλογος αρνήθηκε τα περισσότερα περιστατικά που του απέδιδαν. Αντίθετα, δέχθηκε ότι αυτομαστιγώθηκε «χιουμοριστικά» και ότι είχε υποστηρίξει τον μαθητή που είχε χειροδικήσει κατά συμμαθήτριάς του γιατί ο μαθητής, ο οποίος ήταν άριστος, είχε υπάρξει θύμα ρατσισμού λόγω του βάρους του.

Αναφορικά με τις σχέσεις του με τη μαθήτρια, παραδέχθηκε ότι «παρέλαβε την μαθήτρια από την οικία της φίλης της με το αυτοκίνητό του και κατευθύνθηκαν προς τον σταθμό λεωφορείων, όπου και στάθμευσε».

Όμως η συνάντηση αυτή «έγινε για να πείσει τη μαθήτρια να σταματήσει να τον ενοχλεί και τους υιούς του με διαρκείς τηλεφωνικές κλήσεις και με σημειώματα, καθώς είχε προκαλέσει αναστάτωση στην οικογένειά του».

Παράλληλα, δέχθηκε ότι η δεύτερη συνάντησή του με τη μαθήτρια, πραγματοποιήθηκε στο σπίτι του, πλην όμως «όλη του η συμπεριφορά εκεί ήταν αποτρεπτική της δημιουργίας σχέσεως μαζί της, ενώ η συνάντηση αποσκοπούσε και πάλι στο να την πείσει να παύσει να ενοχλεί τον ίδιο και την οικογένειά του».

Στο πόρισμα της ΕΔΕ υπογραμμίζεται ότι η συμπεριφορά του φιλολόγου προκάλεσε υποτιμητικά σχόλια για τον ίδιο, τα οποία «αναπαράγονται με τη μορφή σκανδάλων».

Ως προς τις σχέσεις του με τη μαθήτρια, σημειώνεται ότι δεν προέκυψε ότι «αυτός επεδίωξε επαφή με τη μαθήτρια, καθώς αυτή δεν ανήκε στο τμήμα του». Όμως, προέκυψε κατά τρόπο σαφή «η διπλή συνάντησή τους (η δεύτερη στην οικία του) και η ανταλλαγή τηλεφωνικών κλήσεων προσωπικού περιεχομένου». Και συνεχίζει η ΕΔΕ:

«Το γεγονός ότι ο ίδιος προέτρεπε την μαθήτρια να μην αποκαλύψει σε κανέναν τις συναντήσεις τους καταδεικνύει ότι είχε πλήρη επίγνωση της σοβαρότητας των πράξεών του».

Κατόπιν αυτών, ασκήθηκε σε βάρος του πειθαρχική δίωξη για παράβαση καθήκοντος και αναξιοπρεπή διαγωγή εντός και εκτός υπηρεσίας.

Τώρα, κατά την πειθαρχική σε βάρους του διαδικασία, άλλαξε υπερασπιστική γραμμή και προσέθεσε νέα, άγνωστα στοιχεία.

Αρνήθηκε ότι παρέσυρε τη μαθήτρια στο σπίτι του, στο οποίο διέμενε με τη σύζυγό του και ότι «η παραδοχή του γεγονότος αυτού στην πρώτη κατάθεσή του υπήρξε αποτέλεσμα κακής συνεννοήσεως με τον δικηγόρο του».

Επεσήμανε ότι η μαθήτρια ήταν αυτή που τον προσέγγισε. Από τον Οκτώβριο 2009 η σύζυγός του άρχισε να δέχεται κλήσεις στο κινητό της, όταν δε απαντούσε της το έκλειναν. Τα τηλεφωνήματα συνεχίστηκα και με τους δύο γιους του, οι οποίοι δέχονταν κλήσεις από μαθήτριες, οι οποίες νόμιζαν ότι μιλούν με τον ίδιο και έλεγαν ότι είναι θαυμάστριές του, ενώ στην ονομαστική του εορτή του άφηναν το μήνυμα «χρόνια πολλά μανάρι». 

Ο καθηγητής αποκάλυψε ότι βρήκε στο παρμπρίζ του αυτοκινήτου του ιδιόχειρη επιστολή της μαθήτριας, στην οποία έγραφε ότι «επιθυμούσε συνάντηση μαζί του και, ενδεχομένως, τη σύναψη σχέσεως».

Παραδέχθηκε και πάλι ότι συναντήθηκε με τη μαθήτρια. Στην πρώτη συνάντηση η οποία έγινε στον χώρο στάθμευσης των υπεραστικών λεωφορείων, δίπλα στη λαϊκή αγορά της, προσπάθησε να της εξηγήσει ότι «δεν υπήρχε περίπτωση να συνάψουν σχέση, διότι αυτό θα συνιστούσε αδίκημα, διότι έχουν τεράστια διαφορά ηλικίας, αλλά και διότι είναι εκπαιδευτικός και παντρεμένος».

Όμως, όπως τόνισε, «η μαθήτρια έδειξε να πείθεται και ζήτησε να συναντώνται φιλικά, παρουσία της μητέρας της, αλλά εκείνος την απέτρεψε». Τις επόμενες ημέρες η μαθήτρια άρχισε να του ασκεί ψυχολογική πίεση, καλώντας τον στο τηλέφωνο και λέγοντάς του ότι «θα κλειστεί σε μοναστήρι», οπότε και αποφάσισε να την συναντήσει και πάλι για να την καθησυχάσει.

 Η δεύτερη συνάντηση, επισήμανε ο καθηγητής, έγινε και πάλι στο ίδιο σημείο και όχι σπίτι του, όπως είχε αρχικά λεχθεί.

Όλα όσα καταγγέλλονται σε βάρος του τα απέδωσε σε «σκευωρία» και «πλεκτάνη», για λόγους αντιζηλίας συναδέλφων του «εξαιτίας της εκπαιδευτικής του πορείας, στη διάρκεια της οποίας ουδέποτε υπέκυψε σε «ευτελείς προτάσεις» τους σχετικές με την αύξηση της βαθμολογίας μαθητών, την διαγραφή απουσιών κ.λπ.».

Ισχυρίστηκε ακόμη ότι «ο αντικομφορμιστικός χαρακτήρας και στάση του προσκρούει σε ευτελείς προθέσεις κάποιων γονέων, μαθητών και διευθυντών και ότι εσκεμμένα ο «αντικομφορμισμός» του καταγγέλλεται δολίως ως ιδιορρυθμία». Επίσης, απέδωσε τη συμπεριφορά του στη διαφορετική παιδαγωγική του προσέγγιση στις σχέσεις του με τους μαθητές, η οποία απορρέει από τη «διαφορετικότητά του» και τις «ανοικτές του προοπτικές», ενώ δέχθηκε ότι «η συμπεριφορά του ήταν μεν αντισυμβατική, πλην υπό διαφορετικό πρίσμα δεν αποτελεί παρά «χιουμοριστική κίνηση»».

Το Πρωτοβάθμιο Πειθαρχικό Συμβούλιο έκρινε ότι αποδείχθηκαν όσα του αποδίδονται, αλλά, σημειώνει η εισηγήτρια του συμβουλίου, δεν υπήρξαν αναφορές από «αυτήκοους μάρτυρες» και «δεν επιβεβαιώθηκαν κατά λέξη οι φράσεις και τα περιστατικά της υπόθεσης».

Στη συνέχεια, η εισηγήτρια υπογράμμιζε ότι, ναι μεν υπήρξε σχέση μεταξύ του καθηγητή και της μαθήτριας, αλλά «δεν προέκυψε η ακλόνητη πεποίθηση ότι αυτός επεδίωξε πρώτος να έρθει σε επαφή μαζί της» και δεν αποδείχθηκε ότι η σχέση αυτή «ολοκληρώθηκε σεξουαλικά». Ωστόσο αποδείχθηκαν «οι δύο συναντήσεις τους (η μία στην οικία του).

Παρ’ όλα αυτά ο φιλόλογος συνεχίζει να διδάσκει, καθώς οι σύμβουλοι Επικρατείας έκριναν ότι είναι προσήκουσα η ποινή της εξάμηνης παύσης με πλήρη στέρηση των αποδοχών του που του επιβλήθηκε, και απέρριψε την προσφυγή του κ. Ρακιντζή.

Με ένα φυλλάδιο 32 σελίδων γραμμένο στα ελληνικά, τα αραβικά, τα φαρσί και στα αγγλικά θα προσπαθήσει από τη Δευτέρα να πείσει η κυβέρνηση τους χιλιάδες μετανάστες που παραμένουν στον Πειραιά, μετά την επιχείρηση που ξεκίνησε το πρωί της Παρασκευής με επικεφαλής τον λιμενάρχη, ο οποίος με ντουντούκα ενημέρωνε τους χιλιάδες ανθρώπους ότι πρέπει να φύγουν.

Στο φυλλάδιο η κυβέρνηση ομολογεί ότι τα σύνορα είναι κλειστά από παντού και δεν υπάρχει ελπίδα να ανοίξουν άμεσα. Ομολογεί επίσης ότι η κατάσταση σε πολλά από τα κέντρα φιλοξενίας είναι χειρότερη ακόμα και από τον Πειραιά. Ενημερώνει τους πρόσφυγες ότι «σας αγαπάμε...!» καθώς και ότι όλες οι παροχές μετακίνησης, διαμονής, σίτισης και υγειονομικής φροντίδας είναι δωρεάν. Δεν διστάζει μάλιστα να αποκαλέσει τις εικόνες που καταγράφηκαν το προηγούμενο διάστημα στον Πειραιά είναι μια «χρυσή σελίδα» στην ιστορία του Πειραιά



Στο φυλλάδιο η κυβέρνηση καλεί τους πρόσφυγες και μετανάστες να εμπιστευθούν τις ελληνικές αρχές και επισημαίνει:

- λένε ψέματα οι διακινητές που σας τάζουν ότι θα σας πάνε στην Ευρώπη

- Τα σύνορα είναι από παντού κλειστά και δεν υπάρχει ελπίδα να ανοίξουν άμεσα

- γραφτείτε στους καταλόγους για την ενεργοποίηση της νόμιμης διαδικασίας μετακίνησης στην Ευρώπη. «Αυτό μπορεί να γίνει μόνο στα κέντρα φιλοξενίας»

- ορισμένα από τα κέντρα φιλοξενίας δεν είναι πολύ καλά οργανωμένα αλλά σίγουρα είναι καλύτερα από την Ειδομένη και σε λίγο καιρό θα είναι καλύτερα από τον Πειραιά

- Μην χάνετε το κουράγιο σας, είμαστε μαζί σας, σας αγαπάμε...!



- Φροντίστε να μην υπάρχουν επεισόδια μεταξύ σας. Δεν έχετε τίποτα να χωρίσετε

- Η περίοδος της παραμονής σας στο λιμάνι είναι «χρυσή σελίδα» στην ιστορία του Πειραιά

- Σας ζητάμε να συνεργαστείτε με το Λιμενικό και τους αλληλέγγυους φίλους σας

- Σας υπενθυμίζουμε ότι όπου κι αν βρίσκεστε τα έξοδα μετακίνησης, διαμονής, σίτισης και υγειονομικής φροντίδας, αναλαμβάνει αποκλειστικά το ελληνικό κράτος. Όλες αυτές οι υπηρεσίες σας παρέχονται δωρέαν

Φεύγουν «δειλά-δειλά» από τον Πειραιά

Ήδη, πάντως, κάποιοι από τους μετανάστες -περίπου 100- επιβιβάστηκαν στα λεωφορεία με προορισμό το κένρο φιλοξενίας στον Άγιο Ανδρέα. 

Στην πλειοψηφία τους, πρόκειται για Αφγανος και Σύρους, οι οποίοι είχαν βρει στέγη στην προβλήτα Ε1.

Στην «ουρά» για να αναχωρήσουν, κατά πληροφορίες, βρίσκονται και άλλοι μετανάστες.
